Worship Ministry

Worship ministry at Dayton Avenue Baptist Church exists to glorify God by praising his name through music and technological support of the services. We believe that worship is important for every believer as that is why we were created. We believe that music has three important roles in the live of the church:

To be used to give thanksgiving and praise to God

Service Opportunities

We have several opportunities for you to be involved in music and worship at DABC.

These positions are for skilled musicians high-school age and above with playing and singing experience.  Auditions are required, and the ability to play and sing from a chord chart are expected.

Vocalists are expected to be able to harmonize.

Rehearsals are each Sunday afternoon from 4:30 to 6:00 pm.

We have needs in the tech booth for a variety of positions, supporting our audio and video production needs. We need volunteers to run the lyric computer, lights, video cameras and switching, and audio for the auditorium and live stream.

We have a children’s choir seasonally for children grades 1-5. Please see Pastor Robert for more information.
